NABL has approved an extension to our TC-5843 scope covering 41 additional parameters across the chemical and biological disciplines. The revised scope document is available in the Download Centre and takes effect for samples received from 04 September 2026.
What has been added
- Six further nitrosamine impurities in drug substances and finished formulations, at parts per billion detection limits
- Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances in drinking water and wastewater, covering the 18 compounds most commonly specified by overseas buyers
- Three additional mycotoxins in animal feed and feed ingredients: T-2, HT-2 and citrinin
- Extended heavy metal coverage in cosmetics, adding nickel and hexavalent chromium as separate determinations
Why it matters for your reports
A parameter only carries accredited status once it appears on the scope. Clients who were previously receiving these determinations as non-accredited results can now request them on an accredited report, which is what an export authority or a multinational buyer’s quality team will ask to see.
If you have an open specification that references any of the above, send it across and we will confirm the accredited limit of quantification against your requirement.
Getting the current scope
The scope document lists every parameter, matrix, method and range. It is in the Download Centre and is replaced there whenever NABL approves a change, so always take the copy from the site rather than reusing a saved file.
