Isokinetic stack samplers
Primary technique on this service
14,000 sq. ft.
Integrated laboratory in Jaipur
This service characterises what a source actually emits and what the air around it contains, measuring particulate load, gaseous pollutants, volatile organics and heavy metals in stack and ambient samples. Isokinetic stack sampling means the measured emission rate reflects real operating conditions.
Demonstrating stack emissions against Schedule I norms
Sizing or validating a new bag filter, scrubber or ESP
Boundary dust, odour or ammonia complaints from neighbours
Assessing indoor air quality in an office, hospital or plant
What we test on this service
Panels are built from the list below. Tell us the market and the specification and we select the parameters it calls for rather than selling you the whole sheet.
Stack particulate and gaseous emission loads
Heavy metals and dioxin precursors in emissions
Volatile organic compounds and mercaptans
Indoor air quality including CO2 and formaldehyde
Fugitive and boundary dust
Odour and ammonia at plant boundaries
Method
How the analysis runs
Instrumentation and controls
Every batch runs with the controls its method requires, on calibrated equipment, and a second analyst reviews the data before the report is released.
Standards and methods
Results are reported against the method below, or against your buyer's specification where you send one with the sample.
Ask for the full NABL scope document if you need to confirm accredited coverage before sending the sample.
Not sure which parameters your buyer wants?
Send us the specification. We will tell you what to test and what it costs, at no charge.
The approvals this work is issued under
Carried out under our CPCB approval and NABL TC-5843 scope, in the format state boards accept for emission compliance.

Questions we get asked
Is stack platform work included?
Our team carries its own sampling train and safety gear. You need to provide a safe, ported platform with power at the sampling point.
How long does a stack test take on site?
Two to three hours per stack for a standard particulate and gaseous set, longer where metals or dioxin precursors are included.
Can you test while the plant runs at part load?
We can, but the result reflects that condition. Emission compliance is normally demonstrated at or near rated load.
Do you cover workplace exposure monitoring?
Yes, personal and area sampling for dust, solvents and specified gases against the relevant occupational limits.
