Who we are
One roof, nine sectors, one report
We test food, water, environmental samples, food contact materials, drugs and pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, AYUSH and herbal products, molecular biology samples and engineering materials. Manufacturers, exporters, importers, government bodies, public sector enterprises and multinational companies send us samples before they ship or sell.
In February 2022 we acquired CEG Test House, which brought decades of food, water, environment, AYUSH and pharmaceutical work into the business along with the team that built it. That is why one sample can carry a residue panel, a heavy metal panel and a microbiology panel without leaving the building.
ISSPL runs three laboratories in India, supported by 12 overseas and 16 national offices. If a sample needs drawing at a plant in another state, that network handles it.

How we got here
Four moments that shaped the lab
The capability we sell today was assembled deliberately, one accreditation and one instrument at a time.
The company is established
ISSPL begins as a testing, inspection and certification provider within the IRCLASS group.
NABL accreditation secured
Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 for the laboratory, followed by FSSAI recognition and the first export approvals.
CEG Test House acquired
The February acquisition adds food, water, environment, AYUSH and pharmaceutical depth, along with the team that built it.
Scope and capacity extended
The TC-5843 scope is extended again, and a second LC-MS/MS system cuts residue turnaround to seven working days.

Anyone who has to prove a product is safe before it moves
Some clients send one sample a year to renew a licence. Others send several a week across three sectors. The report has to satisfy whoever is reviewing it, whether that is a state inspector, a European buyer or a procurement committee.
