Why we hold it
To quote for and carry out testing, to issue reports, to meet the record-keeping requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 and of the authorities that approve us, and to answer your questions about a result. We do not use client data for marketing without your consent.
Confidentiality of results
Sample details, methods you share and results belong to you. We do not disclose a report to any third party without your written instruction, except where law or accreditation requires it. Where we are required to release information, we tell you unless we are legally barred from doing so.
Retention
Technical records are retained for the period our accreditation requires, currently a minimum of five years. Enquiry records are kept for two years. Job applications are held for one year and then deleted.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete contact data we no longer need for a legal or accreditation reason. Write to lab@isspl.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
Laboratory data sits on access-controlled systems with role-based permissions and audited changes. Paper records are held in the laboratory's controlled document store. Staff sign confidentiality undertakings as a condition of employment.

Tell us what you need tested
Send the product, the market it ships to and the standard you are being held to. Our technical team replies with the parameter list, the sample quantity we need and a firm turnaround. Quotes usually go out the same working day.
