A second LC-MS/MS triple quadrupole system has been commissioned, qualified and brought into routine use at the Jaipur laboratory. It doubles our capacity for pesticide residue work and shortens the queue that had been building through the spice and rice export season.

The practical effect on turnaround

Full EU MRL multi-residue panels now come back in seven working days rather than ten. Single-analyte confirmations that previously waited behind batch runs can be slotted in the same week.

Urgent consignment work is scheduled against your shipping date. Tell us the vessel cut-off when you send the sample and we will work back from it.

Qualification and method transfer

The instrument completed installation, operational and performance qualification, and every accredited method running on it was re-validated on the new platform before any client sample was analysed. Results from the two systems were compared across spiked and real matrices to confirm they agree within the stated measurement uncertainty.

What else it opens up

The extra capacity is what made the nitrosamine and PFAS scope extension practical. Both need long instrument time per sample, and running them on a single system would have pushed routine residue work out.
